Changes from then to now.

Changes from then to now.

When looking back at Pleasantville, I think about how different the film world was even before this. Thinking about how film was taken in black and white and later colored in. That would have taken a lot of time and commitment. It is things like this that really show the aspects of how film has changing from black and white to color.

Film has changed with it’s content to, it use to be simple and pleasant, and now it is complicated and gruesome. Which is better? I guess that is a personal preference, but it definitely seems to be an ever changing cycle.

  • I feel like the more conflicting the content is now, the more views it gets. It makes for a more interesting story. I can see where the old films used to be entertaining, but now that there's so much more of a variety, they were kinda pushed out.
